Is Clarify a toner?

Clarify is a liquid exfoliator in a toner-style format.

It sits within our Prep Collection, but unlike Refresh and Pure, Clarify isn't designed to be your everyday Prep toner.

Think of it as your occasional exfoliating Prep step.

Is Clarify suitable for beginners?

Yes.

I specifically love Clarify as an introduction to chemical exfoliation because it's simple to incorporate into an existing routine.

Start slowly and let your skin tell you when it's ready for more.

Can I use Clarify every day?

That's not how we recommend using it.

We recommend using Clarify a few evenings per week. 

At SMS, we'd rather you start slowly than assume more is better.

Is Clarify hydrating?

Clarify is primarily an exfoliating product, but its formula also contains hydrating ingredients including Glycerin, Betaine and Sodium PCA. 

So while it doesn't replace your Hydrate step, the formula isn't solely focused on exfoliation.

Will Clarify help with pigmentation?

Clarify is designed to promote the appearance of a more even skin tone and reduce the appearance of skin pigmentation. 

Pigmentation can have different causes, so Clarify should be considered part of a wider healthy-skin routine rather than a single-product solution.

Is Clarify good for blemish-prone skin?

Clarify can be incorporated into a routine for blemish-prone skin, particularly when build-up and uneven texture are concerns.

But remember:
